I, Ingvald Kvåle, established Kvåleskajakk in 2021, but have been an instructor since 2017. I started holding courses in 2019 and thought it was so much fun that in 2021 I decided to start for myself by holding courses and having guided trips.

Paddling a kayak is a great way to get close to nature in a quiet and considerate way. I think giving courses and having guided tours is fun. I get to know many different people. Seeing the joy and development of those who take part in the course is very rewarding.

Apart from kayaking, I do some walking in the mountains around Lake Jølstravatnet in summer and winter. So for those of you who are interested in outdoor life, kayaking is a nice way to get around to see the nature and mountains around you. You can pack a tent, food and equipment to be able to combine paddling and going on a mountain trip. 

Sunnfjord has a lot to offer. You can go on a mountain trip in the morning and then you can take a trip on the coast and paddle between islets and reefs in the afternoon. If you're lucky, you can catch the sunset as well.
